The Arctic Moth

Desktop25 This scene from Nature’s Animal Misfits is one of the most beautiful works of cinematography I’ve ever seen. And not just because I adore moths! The Arctic Woolly Bear Caterpillar hibernates for seven years before it transforms.  Talk about a long wait before finally coming into ones own! Its life cycle among flowers and frost is so tantalizing.  My boys loved the whole show, too, so it’s a great rec!  It’s available on Netflix.
