Chamomile and cardamom

20140323-083121.jpgThe other day I went to The Fat Hen for the first time. Cherry blossoms were dangling over it’s striped awning luring us in, and when I opened the red door to the inside….it was love at first sight! The white washed wood, honeycomb tile, and white dishes all made for a soothing landscape for the delicious treats and smells. Another pink cherry tree on the chalkboard, the prettiest milk glass light fixture orb, window seating, and the most delicious cardamom chewy sugar chunk thing in my mouth…sigh. Another place to indulge my patisserie tooth! (And it’s across the street from Honore! I die.)

Pretty things beget pretty things:

Now I just need to go for brunch and get a longer look so I can paint the WHOLE thing….And taste their Eggs Benny.
