“Glass that protects the flowers”

Finn has been drawing garden parties under “Glass that protects the flowers.” I told him he was drawing little Conservatories! There is a beautiful conservatory at Volunteer Park so yesterday the five of us went.  The boys LOVED it.  It was very hard to get them to leave.  Oliver was excited because it was like being in the jungle, and Finn loved seeing all the variety of plants.  He had Beau tell him every name of every cactus. I highly recommend Volunteer park.  There’s an old water tower you can climb with a view of the city, a splash pond, a playground, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum all in one spot!  Plus Capitol Hill is gorgeous right now, with all the leaves turning.  And there’s a darling row of dahlias blooming, too. (The Conservatory is free, with a donation slot.)
