I love watercolor.  Creating a scene with only a brush, water, and a bit of color is like magic.  I feel as though I am wielding a wand when I paint.  And I am eternally learning new spells.  This week I’ve been inspired by reflections, mists, skies, and whimsical architecture. I have been reflecting deeply on creating the quantity and allowing God to take care of the quality.  These paintings are three of a great many that were not so inspired.  But it has been fun to find the beauty in mistakes, allow myself to play around more, and try out new color combinations.  I love finding new ways in which water and color can react and respond to each other.  It delights!
