And owl. We weren’t able to go to the movie so we did what only two people who are free from their messy, crazy toddlers CAN do on a friday afternoon: nails. Sigh. To indulge in open bottles of nail polish and remover! To sit and let polish dry without having to wipe a nose or pick up a toy! Divine! I did owl feathers on Juliana’s nails and she did deer spots on mine!We also went and got pedicures, got lunch and dessert and window shopped, and walked out onto the pier in edmonds. Yes I did find an adorable fawn for the baby. And as you can see, I may keep it for myself if he doesn’t like it! Also found: an antique gold antler and crystal chandelier that needs rewiring. I’ll be asking Beau what he thinks of getting it! Seemed like a pretty good deal to me!
Also of note today: Deena sent me the most darling botanical shell art articles in the mail because they reminded her of me! I want to take pictures and post them all on the blog! Aaand…Maryann sent me a file of one of her artworks that I love, and one of my favorite emails I’ve ever gotten! It’s been a lovely day.
But now I miss my chickens to pieces. I shall have to snuggle up in bed reading the January Anthropologie catalogue to take my mind off of it!
