We are all snug in a corner room at the hospital. The surgeon said he’s going to use pictures of Oliver’s surgery to teach and speak because it went so well. He said it took so long because he wanted to get everything just right. And then recovery took a long time because when he woke up he was in so much pain he couldn’t stop crying. Now he’s all hopped up on morphine (on top of his pain catheter) drinking juice and watching Rudolph. He occasionally says “ow” but he’s mostly just a sleepy little lounge cat. Which is good because we’ll be here overnight.
Lucy’s coming soon with lunch for us! I am SO happy and tired. Thank you for the slew of prayer warriors out there. I love you a million!
