of black birds, stars, and fiery leaves.

Oh just a picture of my mom with her pet crow. I know.  It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen, too.  Lucy had it hanging in her house and I had never seen it before.  It was so perfect to see it in October.  So macabre meets cute.  The red hair.  The look.  The dress.  The…crow?  It’s all too much!!

In other happy news: Pretty red leaves! Every flash of vermillion in all this drizzle makes me smile.

And also in happy news, I’ve got all our constellations hanging round my neck… A jingly starry necklace symbolizing my babies’ births!! I LOVE IT.

There’s a full moon tonight.  Feels so right!  I’ve been working on a sparkly pussy willow wreath for winter, cooking up some chicken pot pie, soothing sore throats with warm cider, wearing my Scottish tartan scarf, and equipping our family with sequin masks…blue, green, gold and pink!

Hope you’re enjoying autumn as much as I am!
