DAY 1 of 30 days of blogging
recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself.
I will try very hard to write things I’ve never written before in one of these

1. In private, I have a mouth like a sailor.
2. My dad’s nick name for me when I was little was Bridgie Befferton or just Beffy.
3. I do not like peanut butter with chocolate. But I DO like cheese with jam.
4. I am quick and eloquent when typing, but am a muddle mouth and spacey when speaking.
5. I told myself I would marry Beau the day I met him. I was fourteen.
6. I talk to myself constantly. I forget sometimes and Beau will say, “who are you talking to?” or a friend will say, “do you know that I’m here?” It’s SO embarrassing for me!
7. I adore pink…especially when there’s just a hint of it.
8. My mom has always called me the “alterer” because I would destroy her things in order to create something new out of them. Finn has a streak of this and I have to remember to be as gracious as my mom was about it.
9. I have always utterly despised having to tie shoes and have always opted for bare feet or slip ons…especially with my kids. And now I have to buckle six straps every night on Oliver’s club foot braces. Shoe justice has been served.
10. My whole life I’ve dreamed of owning a beautiful parrot and Beau refuses to ever let me cage a bird because they are meant to fly.
11. I had pixie short hair (even as a child) until I was in my twenties, and now I want to have long hair for the rest of my life. I so totally got this from Audrey Hepburn!
12. When I was a child a psychologist told my mom she should never wish for me to fit in better with other children.
13. I have read each Anne of Green Gables book at the age Anne actually is. I’m waiting to dig into Anne of Ingleside when I’m in my thirties.
14. I told my mom that I would call my baby Wolf if there was something about him that really said “Wolf” to me. He was born with a wolf birth mark.
15. There is a very cynical part of me that doesn’t want to believe in anything and another part of me that takes every little beautiful happenstance as a sign. Those parts are always irritated with each other.

  1. Hehe – I also talk to myself all the time and often have to stop myself especially when walking down the street and everyone around me starts to look at me funny. I also have issues with getting my point across when speaking so people who don't know me very well always think I'm really quiet :P This is a great idea! I think I'll take up the challenge as soon as I recover my hard-drive, which has all my photos on it!!!
