I love Disneyland. PASSIONATELY. I compare the rest of the world to it. eg: fireflies in Indiana..”this is just like Pirates!” red rocks in montana..”this is just like Thunder Mountain!” a jungle in mexico..”this is just like adventure land!” It put a definite mark on my childhood and rearing. The rest of my family has the same starry eyed love for it, too. I can’t wait to share it with Finn!!
It’s amazing to think that now we have two more in our brood. That it won’t be a matter of lines and scheduling rides, it’ll be a matter of stroller navigating and diapers and will Finn be tall enough? I love it! I’ve been trying to explain to Finn that we’re going to Mickey’s house. He thinks I mean his Teacher Nicky’s house. (He can’t say his N’s so he calls her Teachu Mickey). The other day Finn asked a little girl wearing a Tinker Bell costume when she was going to fly. If he can believe a little girl in a Halloween costume is Tinkerbell…HOOOO BOY! I can’t wait to have his MIND BLOWN by Disneyland. To top it off it’s the first real vacation with just my immediate family. My parents, my sisters, and us. That alone will be magic. There’s nothing like Splash Mountain with my sisters. NOTHING.
P.S. Jeremy Leffel took the picture! ;)
