Our waters are now officially a part of what is now called “The Salish Sea”. Click here for more info and a map.

So now we really are looking out to sea! And live by the sea! And live in a bona fide sea town! And kayaked through the Salish Sea this summer! I always felt writing “I looked out at the sound” was confusing :) Here’s some pictures I took of the sun setting over the Olympic Mountains and the Salish Sea last night. Aaaah. Doesn’t that have a lovely ring to it?Here’s me trying to be all Bella in my northwest environs. I so totally did my hair like this for my viewing of the movie :)
and some moss. Of which we Salish Sea people have plenty.
